Pathway to Equity is a nonprofit corporation incorporated in the State of Hawai‘i and has applied for federal tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Governance
Pathway to Equity is currently founder-led and is in the process of formalizing board governance consistent with its long-term institutional mission.
Funding
The organization is currently supported through advisory engagements and philanthropic relationships aligned with its structural design mission. Pathway to Equity does not raise or deploy capital for specific housing developments and does not pool investor funds.
Scope of work
Pathway to Equity provides structural design guidance for ownership, governance, and capital transition frameworks. The organization does not develop, own, manage, or operate housing.
Geographic scope
Pathway to Equity works nationally, with operational presence in Hawai‘i and California.
